I’m a strategic and results-driven communications professional with a strong background in municipal public affairs, journalism, and business advocacy. Currently, I serve as the Director of Communications & Social Media for the Waterbury Regional Chamber, overseeing all communications for a 950-member business organization spanning 14 towns in the Greater Waterbury region.

In this role, I manage content across seven websites and 20+ social media accounts, produce weekly and monthly newsletters, and lead targeted digital, print, and radio ad campaigns. I also play a key role in promoting and executing more than 65 annual chamber events, crafting compelling press releases, newspaper columns, special supplements, and marketing materials that engage and inform the business community.

Previously, I served as Communications Director for Mayor Erin Stewart and the City of New Britain, where I led media relations, public outreach, and branding initiatives. My journalism background includes reporting for the Journal Inquirer and New Britain City Journal, with additional bylines in the Associated Press, Berlin Citizen, and UConn Free Press.

With expertise in media relations, digital marketing, and content strategy, I excel at crafting clear, impactful messaging across various platforms. My skill set includes writing, editing, photography, video production, social media management, event planning, advertising, and budget management. I thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and am passionate about helping businesses and organizations amplify their reach through effective communication.

Beyond my professional work, I take pride in building strong relationships within the community, assisting business owners, and driving engagement through innovative storytelling and strategic marketing.
